Our group meets on Otto Road in Glendale, NY. We are at the front gate of the New York & Atlantic Railway. Society Officers Henry Frick and Bill Thom greeted everyone. A short business meeting was held to discuss the upcoming book on the NYCR, as well as other matters. Then the Society's Activities Director Bernard Ente began the tour.

We walked through Fresh Pond Yard (with permission) to access the Connecting Railroad at Fremont Junction. View is looking south.

After a brief talk by NYCRRS officers, we set out on our walk.

We head north from Glendale toward Middle Village. Both tracks are in use at this point.
